Unable to identify the Intel HD Graphics 4600 on Ubuntu server 12.04

I newly set a PC with Intel i7 4770K and ASUS Z87-PRO mainboard. After I installed Ubuntu server 12.04 x64, I found that the video driver cannot identify the Intel Graphics properly.

    Running 'lspci -v'

VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Xeon E3-1200 v3/4th Gen Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 06) (prog-if 00 [VGA Controller])
Subsystem: ASUSTeK Compute Inc. Device 8543

Obviously, Xeon E3-1200 is not correct. I guess it should be something like Core 4600. At the beginning, I thought it should be a video driver issue. I checked the Intel website. In 2012Q2 release, it started to support HD Graphics 4600 on Ubuntu 13.04. And 2013Q3 release is to move to Ubuntu 13.10.

Then, I upgraded my Ubuntu to the latest version, even tried the bleeding edge ppa. But it doesn't works.

Eventually, I found that not only VGA controller but also Audio controller and PCI bridge are recognized as that of Xeon Processor. And all these stuff are related to ASUS mainbroad. I wonder if ASUS Z87 mainbroad is not well supported by Ubuntu. But according to ASUS, this model should work properly with Ubuntu 12.04+.

    ASUS Mainboard Linux Support

So I confused what exactly causes this issue. How shall I deal with it? Does anyone have the similar setup?

From the first time installing Ubuntu, I can not enable desktop effects. My laptop is Asus K53SV core i7 SB with hybrid graphic card Intel HD 3000/ Nvidia 540 GM. After installing Bumblebee, I still can't enable it. I've found these links: http://intellinuxgraphics.org/download.html and http://intellinuxgraphics.org/2011Q1.html which said "This release has been validated on following hardware: Sandy Bridge HD Graphics 3000 Core i7 2630QM" How could I reinstall Intel onboard driver this way? I need details. If there is another, how to do that?

Intel HD 3000 drivers come with Ubuntu 11.04, because they are opensource. If you aren't using 11.04, the best way is upgrading to 11.04.
